Des performances extraordinaires dans un volume compact, voici le challenge des subwoofers caraudio Mille PRO. Avec la solide expérience acquise avec Mille Legend, l’équipe R&D a optimisé le process de production pour offrir l'”Expérience Sonore Hertz” au plus grand nombre, en réemployant les technologies et matériaux de cette ligne phare. La membrane du MP 300 D4.3 est en cellulose chargée de poudre minérale, la même technique de construction que pour Legend. Le profil V-cone® augmente la rigidité, permettant au cône de fonctionner comme un piston. La suspension est en butyl IIR très pur. Comme pour les Legend ML 2000.3 et ML 2500.3, les subwoofers Mille PRO exploitent la technologie Suspension Sans Rebord qui permet une surface émissive supérieure à diamètre égal, pour une plus forte pression acoustique. Le saladier compact en aluminium anti résonant à six branches est le même que pour ML 2500.3 ; celui-ci contribue à l’amortissement mécanique du subwoofer en étant totalement transparent acoustiquement. La bobine mobile 4 couches enroulée sur un mandrin TIL-P de 65 mm de diamètre fait plus de 60 mm de haut pour permettre de plus grandes translations. L’impédance 4 Ω + 4 Ω améliore la polyvalence en permettant d’utiliser toute sorte d’amplificateur. Le système de ventilation et de décompression évite le recours à un perçage dans la plaque inférieure avec les avantages suivants :
– Meilleure inertie thermique pour avoir des températures de fonctionnement plus basses sur les transitoires musicales;
– Meilleure induction du champ magnétique dans la bobine à taille de moteur égale. Grâce au taux élevé de fer dans les pièces polaires, la probabilité de saturation magnétique diminue en exploitant au maximum la densité du flux généré par l’aimant;
– Possibilité d’installer le subwoofer sur la paroi arrière, tirant avantage de ses dimensions compactes. Un disque amortissant est fourni avec le produit, permettant de se fixer au caisson au travers des 10 taraudages prévus.
Les orifices autour de la bobine mobile et les 10 perçages dans la plaque arrière permettent un meilleur échange d’air avec l’intérieur des enroulements en forçant l’air à passer dans l’entrefer pour conserver une température de fonctionnement basse même sur les passages musicaux les plus extrêmes. Le raccordement se fait par de solides connecteurs à poussoir avec protection anti court-circuit acceptant des câbles 8 AWG pour avoir une résistance la plus faible possible en configuration à faible impédance (1 Ω).
