You just found the most versatile yet custom made mount for your RAM Products Arm mounted in your vehicle.

  • Provides a vertical orientation for your handheld radio's antenna to clear the dashboard for optimal reception.
  • The radio can be inserted in and taken out in an instant while using just one hand.
  • Expandable system - additional rails for other radios and devices are available for purchase on our site if you decide to change your device.
  • All our RAM ball mounts include a free set of Lateral Support Wings.
  • A Genuine 1 inch RAM Ball is included and pre-fitted to the mount.

Fitment

  • Works with any vehicle with a 1inch RAM Products set-up.
  • We also have RHD (right-hand drive) versions available. To request just send us a note.

The Mic holder for this model:

  • Perfect fit for your Galaxy DX 949 Mic.
  • Supports any mic for mobile CB/HAM/GMRS radios using round-button type hanger.
  • Note that some product images might display other Mobile Mic. However the Mic holder is identical.

The Radio support rail (aka the Vertical Support Rail):

  • Custom made to fit the Kenwood TH-K20's belt clip.
  • Rails for other radios are available for purchase on our site if you decide to change your device.
  • The mount is not compatible with extended batteries that either:
    • Make the radio too long such that it interferes with the mount.
    • Extend the depth of the device too much such that the unit cannot be secured to the mount.
    • Increase the weight of the device by more than 3oz.
    • See this article for a better solution
  • Since there is no standard belt-clip design we can not guarantee fit for any other devices.
  • Depending on the model of your radio we include special spacers to ensure a secure and rattle-free fit.
  • Note that some product images might display other Handheld Radio. However the Radio rail is similar but is specific for your device.

Other Notes

  • A Genuine 1 inch RAM Ball is included and pre-fitted to the mount.
  • Note that some product images might display a 20mm 67 Designs ball set-up. The mount is similar except for using a 1 inch RAM ball instead of the 67D one

Installation:

  • No tools needed.
  • Attach the mount's 1 inch RAM ball to your RAM arm.
