Thanks to AWEâ€™s drone-canceling 180 TechnologyÂ® and countless hours of R&D, we were able to craft a system for the SQ5 that enables perfect part throttle cruising when you want it, and a disobedient soundtrack when you're feeling a bit moreâ€¦ aggressive. In other words, the AWE SQ5 Touring Edition Exhaust is the best of both worlds: SQ5. Unlocked: Featuring AWEâ€™s drone-canceling solution: 180 TechnologyÂ® Engineered around the SQ5â€™s specific Tiptronic tuning Direct bolt-on Gains of 8 hp and 9 lb-ft of torque to the crank X-Pipe for enhanced exhaust scavenging and improved tone Available with chrome silver or diamond black adjustable quad outlet 102mm tips Crafted from 2.5â€ T304L stainless steel No CEL Guarantee Fitment Guarantee Lifetime Exhaust Warranty Since there is no independent control of the valves (except â€œSportâ€ mode which changes a number of other things), the AWE 180 Technology equipped exhaust responds to driver inputs seamlessly, removing the need for valving. 180 TechnologyÂ® is not the standard, typical approach to performance exhaust design. Through proprietary mathematical calculations, AWE engineers were able to create a sound cancellation resonator that definitively â€œturns offâ€ the frequency where drone occurs.
